KOHL'S WINE & DINE GIVEAWAY SWEEPSTAKES
OFFICIAL RULES


NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. VOID IN FLORIDA, PUERTO RICO,
OUTSIDE THE U.S., AND WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.

1. Eligibility/Entries: You must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age at the time of entry and a legal United States resident (excluding residents of Puerto Rico and Florida). The following persons are not eligible to participate: employees of Kohl's and its subsidiaries, affiliates, sales representatives, distributors, advertising and promotion agencies, members of each of their immediate families (spouses, parents, children and siblings, and their respective spouses) and those living in the same household of each. Sweepstakes begins at 12:00:00 AM EST on January 15, 2003, and ends online at 11:59:59 PM EST on February 15, 2003. Entrants agree to be bound by the terms of these Official Rules.
   
   
2. To enter, go to http://www.kohls.com, click on the "Kohl's Wine & Dine Giveaway" Sweepstakes link, and complete the registration form by entering your name, street address, city, state, ZIP code, and e-mail address. In order for the electronic entry to be valid, entrants must click on the "Enter Now" button on the Website. By entering this Sweepstakes, entrants give their express permission to be contacted by Sponsor via telephone, e-mail, and/or postal mail. Entrants must provide a valid e-mail address to enter online. Entries will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to the e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization (e.g. business, educational institution, etc.) which is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. Proof of being the authorized account holder may be required. Limit one online entry per valid e-mail address.
   
   Or, to enter by mail, hand print your name, street address, city, state, ZIP code, e-mail address (if applicable), and daytime phone number on an approximate 3" x 5" piece of paper and mail in an envelope to: "Kohl's Wine & Dine Giveaway" Entries, P.O. Box 9096, Bridgeport, NJ 08014. Each mail-in entry must be mailed separately, postmarked by February 15, 2003, and received by February 24, 2003. Limit one mail-in entry per person. All entries become the property of Sponsor, and will not be returned or acknowledged. No photocopied or mechanically reproduced entries allowed.
   
   
3. Drawing: One (1) winner will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received, on or about March 10, 2003. Drawing will be conducted by Tristar, the judges of this Sweepstakes, whose decisions are final and binding in all matters. Odds of winning depend upon the total number of eligible entries received. Winner will be notified by certified or overnight mail on or about March 12, 2003.
   
   

   GRAND PRIZE (1):

   Trip for four (4) to San Francisco or Oakland, CA for five (5) days/four (4) nights. The trip package includes roundtrip coach airfare to/from winner's home and destination on airline of Sponsor's choice. Hotel accommodations for the Lodge at Sonoma Renaissance Resort and Spa, rental car (eligible drivers only), day trip to Napa or Sonoma Valley, a day at the Renaissance Resort Spa, choice of two cooking classes at Ramekins Sonoma Valley Cooking School, dinner at Tra Vigne, Napa Valley Grille or CIA, and access to 24-hour "Hotline" should the winner have any questions while completing travel on the awarded trip package. Actual prize value will depend on point of departure and airfare fluctuations. Hotel, day spa, and cooking class dates are subject to availability. Winner is responsible for all taxes, meals, and other expenses not included as part of prize package. Trip must be completed by December 31, 2003, or prize will be forfeited in its entirety. Winner and guests will be responsible for all necessary travel documents.

   Total Prize Value:

4. Prize Acceptance: Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if advertised prize is unavailable. Prize is not transferable, or assignable. No prize substitutions, except as provided herein. All taxes, including federal, state, and local taxes are the sole responsibility of winner. Winner will be issued an IRS 1099 tax form (winner is advised to seek independent counsel regarding prize winnings). Winner must sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release and provide Social Security number, except where prohibited. Releases must be returned within seven (7) days of notification, or prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner selected. By accepting prize, winner grants Kohl's, its subsidiaries, affiliates, sales representatives, distributors, and advertising and promotional agencies ("Sponsor and its agents") the right to use and publish winner's proper name, state of residence, and likenesses for advertising and promotional purposes online and in print, or in any other media worldwide in connection with the Sweepstakes, without limitation and without additional compensation, except where prohibited.
   
   
5. Limitations of Liability: Sponsor and its agents are not responsible for lost, late, damaged, misdirected, illegible, incomplete, postage-due, or mutilated entries by mail, or for any computer, online, telephone or technical malfunctions, delays or human errors that occur in the processing, transmission or receipt of entries, or for inaccurate transcription of entry information, or for entries that are stolen, misdirected, garbled, lost, or delayed by computer transmissions. If, for any reason, the Sweepstakes is not capable of being conducted as planned, including but not limited to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or other causes beyond the control of Sponsor, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Sweepstakes. By accepting prize, winner agrees to release Sponsor and its agents, and each of their respective officers, employees, and directors, from any and all liability, loss or damage of any kind incurred with respect to the awarding, receipt, possession, use and/or misuse of any prize, or the participation in the Sweepstakes or in prize-related activities.
