Official Rules

The following promotion is intended for viewing in the 50 United States and the District of Columbia only (excluding Puerto Rico) and shall only be construed and evaluated according to United States law. Do not proceed in this site if you are not a resident of, and located, in the United States (excluding Puerto Rico) at the time of entry.

KOHL'S ON THE GO! SWEEPSTAKES
OFFICIAL RULES

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. VOID IN PUERTO RICO, OUTSIDE THE U.S., AND WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.

1. Eligibility/Entries: You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age at the time of entry and a legal United States resident (excluding residents of Puerto Rico). The following persons are not eligible to participate: employees of Kohl's, its subsidiaries, affiliates, sales representatives, distributors, advertising and promotion agencies; members of each of their immediate families (spouses, parents, children and siblings, and their respective spouses) and those living in the same household of each. Sweepstakes begins at 12:00:00 AM CST on March 29, 2002 and ends online at 11:59:59 PM CDT on May 31, 2002. Entrants agree to be bound by the terms of these Official Rules.
   
   To enter, go to http://www.kohls.com, click on the "Kohl's On the Go!" Sweepstakes link, and complete the registration form by entering your name, street address, city, state, ZIP code and e-mail address. In order for the electronic entry to be valid, entrants must click on the "Enter now" button on the Website. By entering this Sweepstakes, entrants give their express permission to be contacted by Sponsor by telephone, e-mail and/or postal mail. Entrants must provide a valid e-mail address to enter online. Entries will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to the e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) which is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. Proof of being the authorized account holder may be required. Online entries must be submitted by 11:59:59 PM CDT on May 31, 2002. Limit one online entry per person.
   
   Or, to enter by mail, hand print your name, street address, city, state, ZIP code, e-mail address (if applicable), and daytime phone number on an approximately 3" x 5" piece of paper and mail in an envelope to: "Kohl's On the Go!" Sweepstakes Entries, P.O. Box 9256, Bridgeport, NJ 08014. Each mail-in entry must be mailed separately, postmarked by May 31, 2002 and received by June 12, 2002. Limit one mail-in entry per person. All entries become the property of Sponsor, and will not be returned or acknowledged. No photocopied or mechanically reproduced entries allowed.
   
   
2. Limit one prize per person or household. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if advertised prize is unavailable. All taxes on prizes and other incidental costs are the sole responsibility of the prize winner. Prize is not transferable or assignable. Winner of Chevy is responsible for title, license, registration, dealer prep, insurance and other fees associated with automobile and must take delivery at local dealer specified by Sponsor. No prize substitutions, except as provided herein.
   
   

   GRAND PRIZE (1):	Chevy™ Venture® Minivan (Warner Brothers Edition). Approximate retail value ("ARV"): $30,000.
   FIRST PRIZE (3):	Family Bike Package (Four Schwinn bikes - two adult and two kid bikes), four helmets and locks. ARV: $1,560 each.
   SECOND PRIZE (5):	Weekend Getaway Voucher. ARV: $250 each.
   THIRD PRIZE (10):	Kohl's Gift Cards. ARV: $100 each.

3. Awarding Prizes/Winner Notification: All Prize Winners will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received, on or about June 17, 2002. Drawing will be conducted by Tristar, the judges of this Sweepstakes, whose decisions are final and binding in all matters. Odds of winning depend upon the total number of eligible entries received. Winners will be notified by certified or overnight mail on or about June 19, 2002. Prize winners will be required to sign an Affidavit of Eligibility/Publicity Liability Release and provide social security number. Signed Affidavits and releases must be returned within 15 days of notification or prize will be awarded to an alternate prize winner. Winner must pay any taxes.
   
   By accepting prize, winner grants Kohl's and its subsidiaries, affiliates, sales representatives, distributors, and advertising and promotional agencies ("Sponsor and its agents") the right to use and publish winner's proper name, state of residence and likenesses for advertising and promotional purposes online and in print, or in any other media worldwide in connection with the Sweepstakes, without limitation and without additional compensation, except where prohibited.
   
   
4. Limitations of Liability: Sponsor and its agents are not responsible for lost, late, damaged, misdirected, illegible, incomplete, postage-due or mutilated entries by mail, or for any computer, online, telephone or technical malfunctions, delays or human errors that occur in the processing, transmission or receipt of entries, or for inaccurate transcription of entry information, or for entries that are stolen, misdirected, garbled, lost or delayed by computer transmissions. If, for any reason, the Sweepstakes is not capable of being conducted as planned, including but not limited to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or other causes beyond the control of Sponsor, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes. By accepting prize, winner agrees to release Sponsor and its agents, and each of their respective officers, employees, and directors, from any and all liability, loss or damage of any kind incurred with respect to the awarding, receipt, possession, and/or misuse of any prize, or the participation in the Sweepstakes or in prize-related activities.
   
   
5. Winners' List: For the names of winners, available after June 17, 2002, send a self-addressed stamped envelope, to be received no later than June 17, 2002 to: "Kohl's On the Go!" Sweepstakes Winner's List, P.O. Box 9188, Bridgeport, NJ 08014.
