The following promotion is intended for viewing in the 50 United States

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN, NOR WILL A PURCHASE IMPROVE ONE'S
CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID IN FLORIDA, PUERTO RICO, AND WHERE PROHIBITED.
OPEN TO LEGAL U.S. RESIDENTS 18 YEARS OR OLDER.
- Eligibility/Entries: You must be at
least eighteen (18) years of age at the time of entry and a legal United
States resident (excluding residents of Florida and Puerto Rico). Employees
of Kohl's, its subsidiaries, affiliates, sales representatives, distributors,
advertising and promotion agencies, and members of each of their immediate
families (spouses, parents, grandparents, children and siblings, and
their respective spouses) and those living in the same household of
each are not eligible. Sweepstakes begins at 12:00:00 AM ET on July
2, 2004 and ends online at 11:59:59 PM ET on August 7, 2004. Entrants
agree to be bound by the terms of these Official Rules.
To enter, go to http://www.kohls.com, click on
the "Kohls.com 20 Grand Giveaway" link, and complete the
registration form by entering your name, street address, city, state,
ZIP code, e-mail address, and daytime phone number. In order for the
electronic entry to be valid, entrants must click on the "Enter"
button on the Website. By entering this Sweepstakes, entrants give
their express permission to be contacted by Sponsor via telephone,
e-mail and/or postal mail. Entrants must provide a valid e-mail address
to enter online. Entries will be deemed made by the authorized account
holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry. "Authorized
account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned
to the e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service
provider, or other organization (e.g. business, educational institution,
etc.) which is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the
domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. Proof of being
the authorized account holder may be required. Online entries must
be submitted by 11:59:59 PM ET on August 7, 2004. Limit one online
entry per valid e-mail address.
Or, to enter by mail, hand print your name,
street address, city, state, ZIP code, e-mail address (if applicable),
and daytime phone number on an approximately 3" x 5" card
or piece of paper and mail in an envelope to: "Kohls.com 20 Grand
Giveaway" Entries, P.O. Box 709, Bayonne, NJ 07002. Mail-in entries
must be mailed separately, postmarked by August 7, 2004 and received
by August 16, 2004. All entries become the property of Sponsor, and
will not be returned or acknowledged. No photocopied or mechanically
reproduced entries allowed.
- Drawing: All winners, including Grand
Prize winner, will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible
entries received, on or about August 23, 2004. The drawing will be conducted
by The Contest Factory, the judges of this Sweepstakes, whose decisions
are final and binding on all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. Odds
of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
Winner will be notified by phone and/or certified overnight mail on
or about August 26, 2004.

- Limitations of Liability: Sponsor
and its agents are not responsible for lost, late, damaged, misdirected,
illegible, incomplete, postage-due or mutilated entries for mail, or
for any computer, online, telephone or technical malfunctions, delays
or human errors that occur in the processing, transmission or receipt
of entries, or for inaccurate transcription of entry information, or
for entries that are stolen, misdirected, garbled, lost or delayed by
computer transmissions. If, for any reason, the Sweepstakes is not capable
of being conducted as planned, including but not limited to infection
by computer viruses, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud,
technical failures, or other causes beyond the control of Sponsor, Sponsor
reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify
or suspend the Sweepstakes.
- Prize Acceptance:
Prizes are not transferable or assignable. No substitution or cash redemption
allowed except by Sponsor, who may substitute a prize of equal or greater
value if advertised prizes become unavailable. Prizes must be claimed
within six (6) weeks of notification, or prize will be forfeited in
its entirety and an alternate winner will be selected. If any prize
is returned as undeliverable, the prize is forfeited and will be awarded
to an alternate winner. All taxes, including federal, state and local
taxes, are sole responsibility of winners, who may be issued an IRS
1099 tax form (winners are advised to seek independent counsel regarding
prize winnings). Grand and First Prize Winners will be required to sign
and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Release of Liability and Publicity
(where permitted) within seven (7) days of notification, or prize may
be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner. By accepting prizes,
winners consent to use of name, state of residence and likeness for
advertising and promotional purposes online and in print, or in any
other media worldwide in connection with the Sweepstakes, without limitation
and without additional compensation worldwide, except where prohibited
by law. By accepting prizes, winners further agree to release Kohl's
and its subsidiaries, affiliates and related companies and each of their
respective officers, directors, employees and agents, including but
not limited to The Contest Factory (the "Sweepstakes Parties"),
from any and all liability, loss or damage of any kind arising out of
or in connection with winners' participation in this Sweepstakes, or
with respect to the awarding, receipt, possession, use and/or misuse
of any prize, or the participation in prize-related activities. By accepting
prizes, winners further acknowledge that the Sweepstakes Parties have
neither made, nor are in any manner responsible or liable for, any warranty,
representation or guarantee, express or implied in fact or in law, relative
to prize or to any portion thereof, including but not limited to its
quality, merchantability, mechanical condition, or fitness for a particular
purpose.
