What payment methods do you accept?

You can pay for a Kohls.com order with a valid Kohl's Charge card or another major credit card, including MasterCard®, Visa®, American Express® and Discover®.

If you are interested in applying for a Kohl's Charge Card, print out our Quick Credit Application and fill it out at home. Then, see any Associate at your nearest Kohl's store to have it processed.* For help finding your nearest Kohl's, use our Store Locator.

You may also use a Kohl's Gift Card** or Kohl's Merchandise Return Credit
(KMRC)*** as payment.

Please note: In order to place an order at Kohls.com, your Billing Address must be within the Continental U.S., Alaska and Hawaii, including all military (APO/FPO) addresses. We cannot accept orders placed with overseas bank credit cards or international billing addresses.

*Subject to credit approval. Requires valid photo identification and major credit card.
**Gift Cards must have a PIN to be used online. The PIN is located on the back of your Gift Card, next to the bar code.
*** Issued in our stores as credit for a purchase returned without a receipt.

Can I use Kohl's Gift Cards, Kohl's Merchandise Return Credits (KMRCs), coupons, etc. when purchasing online?

Yes, you may use Kohl's Gift Cards, Kohl's Merchandise Return Credits (KMRCs) and Kohls.com Promo Codes when purchasing online. Gift Cards must have a PIN to be used online. The PIN is located on the back of your Gift Card, next to the bar code.

For all other Kohl's coupons and discounts, please review the information printed on the coupon/discount to determine online validity.

Will you bill me later for purchases I make online?
No. Kohls.com does not offer the option to be billed later. All purchases must be paid for during the Checkout process.

How long will it take for my return by mail to be processed?

How quickly we can process your return depends on several factors, including mailing time, processing time at our distribution center and more. Please allow at least a complete billing period for your return to be processed.

If you have any questions after that time has elapsed, please call Kohl's Customer Service toll-free at (866) 887-8884 for more detailed information. Remember, your online purchases are also able to be returned at any of our Kohl's stores for your convenience.

Credit Card Information

I have a question about my Kohl's Charge Card. Who should I contact and how?

Kohl's Customer Service Associates are available toll-free at (866) 887-8884 for your Kohl's Charge Card questions Monday through Saturday, 8am to 11pm EST and Sundays from 10am to 11pm EST.

For your personal protection, we are not able to accept any Kohl's Charge Card inquiries via e-mail. We apologize for any inconvenience. For all other inquiries, please select another option from the drop-down menu to send us an e-mail.

I have an overseas bank credit card/international billing address, but I live in the U.S. Can I place an order at Kohls.com?
Unfortunately, no. At this time we cannot accept overseas credit cards or cards with international billing addresses. To place an order at Kohls.com, your Billing Address must be within the Continental U.S., Alaska and Hawaii, including all military (APO/FPO) addresses.

Can I use a credit card with a different Billing Address?
No. We only ask that you enter your Billing Address once, which means that the credit card you're using during Checkout must share the Billing Address that's currently stored in My Account. If you'd like to use a credit card with a different Billing Address, no problem. Just update your Billing Address in My Account to match the Billing Address of the new card. Or, you can Checkout as an Unregistered customer.

I'm not comfortable submitting my credit card info online. Is there a phone number I can call to place an order?

We are committed to ensuring a secure and private shopping experience. Kohls.com utilizes SSL to encrypt the information you provide (including but not limited to name, address and credit card number) before it is transmitted across the Internet. As a result, placing an order online at www.Kohls.com is secure and safe.

We do realize that not all our customers may be entirely comfortable submitting their credit information online. If you would prefer to make your purchase over the phone, simply call Kohl's Customer Service toll-free at (866) 887-8884, and we'll be happy to take your order.* Kohl's Customer Service Associates are available to answer your call Monday through Saturday, 8am to 11pm EST and Sundays from 10am to 11pm EST.

What should I do if I receive an error message stating that my credit card is invalid?
First, double-check all the information you entered to verify it matches the card. If all the information matches, please try to checkout again using a different credit card.

Why is there a charge on my credit card even though my order was rejected?
We apologize that your order was not able to be completed. A charge may remain on your credit card until your credit card company can verify that the order was not successful. Please contact your credit card company with any concerns.

There is a charge on my credit card from Kohls.com that I do not recognize. What should I do?

Consumer protection laws have been established to protect you against the unauthorized use of your credit card. In addition, federal laws limit your liability (responsibility) to $50.00 should someone steal your credit card and charge your credit card account.

To show you that Kohl's is committed to a secure shopping experience at www.Kohls.com, Kohl's will reimburse you, up to the full $50.00, if your credit card company makes you pay any part of your $50.00 liability due to fraudulent charges made on your credit card at www.Kohls.com. Of course, you must have properly and timely notified your credit card company about the fraudulent charges.
