Return/Exchange at a Store

For gifts purchased either in-store or online, just bring the item you'd like to return/exchange and your gift receipt to the Customer Service Desk of any Kohl's store near you.

Return by Mail

If your gift arrived by mail from Kohl's, you can return it by mail.* Just fill out the Return & Exchange form that accompanied your purchase, and pack the merchandise and receipt into a sturdy box. Then, apply the supplied return label. (Please send all shipments prepaid.)

We understand that making returns by mail can sometimes be the most convenient for our customers. If you do choose to return any Kohls.com purchase by mail, please include the tags for all the items and remember that items should not have been worn or used.

*We're sorry, we are not able to accept returns by mail for items purchased in-store. If you purchased your item(s) in-store, please return it to the Customer Service Desk of any Kohl's store near you.

Exchange
To exchange an item for the same item in a different size or color, simply complete the Return & Exchange form that accompanied your gift. (Shop Kohls.com to find the necessary product information about your replacement item.) Then, follow the “Return by Mail” instructions above.

Online Purchases

As a Kohls.com customer, you have three convenient options to return or exchange your online purchases.

Kohls.com purchases will be credited* to the account used to make the purchase, unless you indicate otherwise. If you'd like to receive a credit on a different credit card account, please complete the “Credit/Payment” method section of the Return & Exchange form that accompanied your order. Please note: To avoid return shipping & handling costs, please choose to return your Kohls.com purchase to a Kohl's store near you.

*Please allow approximately 10 days for your credit to be applied to your credit card after the return/exchange has been processed at our fulfillment center. To avoid delays, simply bring your return(s)/exchange(s) to any Kohl's store near you.

Department Store Purchases

Our Easy Return & Exchange Policy means a convenient way to return or exchange an in-store purchase. Just bring the item you'd like to return or exchange to the Customer Service Desk of any Kohl's store* near you, and we'll take care of the rest.

*Remember, returns/exchanges for in-store purchases can only be completed in-store.
• Would you like to return/exchange an item without a receipt?
• Would you like to return/exchange an item with a receipt?
• Would you like to return/exchange an item with a Kohl's Gift Receipt?
  

Without a receipt you may be given*:

• An even exchange.
• A Kohl's Merchandise Return Credit (KMRC), good for the return value of the item. Offered at any Kohl's.
• A credit to your Kohl's Charge Card, if your items were purchased on your Kohl's Charge.
• A corporate-issued refund.

Are your shipments insured?

Yes. For your protection, the carriers we've partnered with insure any shipments up to $100. If the total exceeds that amount, Kohl's insures your shipment.
