A little effort goes a long way! Many household waste electronic and electrical products are banned from the trash and must be recycled. All waste electrical products should be handled responsibly, even in small quantities. Fees may apply in your area. Please contact your pollution and waste control group for details on how to recycle in your area.

California Electronic Waste Fee
Sales of new video display devices having a screen size of more than 4 inches measured diagonally are subject to an electronic waste recycling fee, which Kohls.com will be temporarily assuming. These "covered electronic devices" (CEDs) include:
- Televisions that contain cathode ray tubes;
- Portable DVD players;
- Computer monitors that contain cathode ray tubes or use liquid crystal displays;
- Laptop computers;
- "Bare" cathode ray tubes or any other product that contains a cathode ray tube.
The fee ranges from $6 to $10 per CED sale. Fees are based on the size of the video display, measured diagonally.
Greater than 4 inches, but less than 15 inches - $6
Greater than or equal to 15 inches, but less than 35 inches - $8
Greater than or equal to 35 inches - $10
