Is an online account the same as having a Kohl's Charge account?
An online account is not the same thing as having a Kohl's Charge. Creating an account at Kohls.com means that you are a registered customer with Kohls.com and that we have saved your information for you to enjoy a faster checkout process. However, you are also now able to register your Kohl's Charge Card at http://credit.kohls.com where you'll be able to pay your bill, check your account balance and much more!

  • My Wallet. Enjoy super-fast checkout. Enter more than one credit card, and your entire wallet of payment options is at your fingertips every time you checkout.
  • Ship-to Address Book. Enter the addresses of your friends and family, and shipping to any destination is just a mouse-click away.
  • Sign-up for Sale Alerts. Just provide your e-mail address, and we'll deliver sales updates directly to your desktop.
  • Shopping Bag. We keep track of your Shopping Bag, even if you leave the site before purchasing. That way, your selections will be waiting for you when you return.
  • Order Tracking & History. Use the easy, central access of my account to check the status of your current and past Kohls.com orders, and track the progress of your shipment.

How do I create an account?

There are two easy ways to create an account at Kohls.com: Create an account or create an account while you checkout!

To create an account:

  1. Click sign-in at the top of any page.
  2. Under Create a Kohls.com Account, click go to step 1.
  3. In step 1, you'll enter your sign-in name (e-mail address) and ship-to self address.
  4. In step 2, you'll enter your billing and payment information (optional).

After you've created your account, you may review or edit your information at any time!

To create an account while you checkout:

  1. From your Shopping Bag, click begin checkout.
  2. Under Guest Checkout, click continue.
  3. Enter your billing and shipping information and click continue.
  4. Under save my info for next time, provide a password, then click continue, and we'll create an account for you when you place your order!

My Account is designed to help you personalize the way you shop Kohls.com. When you registered with Kohls.com, we retained the information you provided in your personal account. Because we consider you a valued customer, you have our commitment to respect your privacy. We do not sell or rent the information you provide us, including your e-mail address, to third parties.

How do I update my personal account information?
After you've created your account, you may edit your password, change your sign-in name, and edit or add to your shipping, billing and payment information any time. Simply click Sign-In at the top of any page, enter your sign-in name (e-mail address) and password, then click Sign-In.

What is my sign-in name?
Your sign-in name is your e-mail address. Kohls.com will send your order and shipping confirmations to this e-mail address.

How do I update my sign-in name and password?
In My Account, click on the tab called sign-in & subscriptions. You can edit your first name, last name, e-mail address (sign-in name) & password.

How do I change my e-mail address?
Sign-in to your account using your old e-mail address (the one you used when you created your Kohls.com account) and password.

In My Account, click sign-in & subscriptions.

Type your new e-mail address in the e-mail address field, and click Update.

You will receive an e-mail confirmation from us at your new address almost immediately. If the confirmation e-mail does not arrive within 24 hours, please call Customer Service toll-free at (866) 887-8884.

After you've received this confirmation e-mail, you can expect that all future e-mail from Kohls.com (order confirmations, shipping confirmations and/or e-mail sale alerts if you've subscribed) will be sent to your new address.

What should I do if I forget my password?
Don't worry! Simply click the Forget your Password? link on the sign-in page. Then, enter your e-mail address in step one and we'll send a temporary password to the e-mail address you used to create your Kohls.com account. This will allow you to access your account, where you'll be able to change your password without losing any of your personal information.

What should I do if the system locks me out while I am attempting to sign-in?
For security purposes, we only allow you to try to enter your password a certain number of times before you get locked out. If you get locked out, please call Customer Service at (866) 887-8884 for assistance.

I thought I was a registered customer, but I am unable to sign-in. What is the problem?
Thank you for shopping Kohls.com! When signing in, remember that your e-mail address and password are case sensitive. If you have double-checked your e-mail address and password and still are not able to sign in, please try again by creating a new account.

To place an order with us, you are not required to be a registered customer. It's possible that your previous order(s) was placed as an unregistered customer.

What happens if I click the box to sign-up for sale alerts?
You'll get the latest scoop about our sales delivered directly to your desktop!

When you sign-up for sale alerts, we'll periodically send e-mail messages about our biggest online sales to the address you provide. There's no obligation and no hassle: You're not required to create an account to receive these sale alerts, and every e-mail we send you will include an easy opt-out feature to let you remove your name from our e-mail list.

And, we do not sell or rent the information you provide us, including your e-mail address, to third parties.

If you would like to sign up for sale alerts, in My Account, click on the tab called sign-in & subscriptions. Look for the Sign-up for Sale Alerts headline. Check the Sign-up for Sale Alerts! box to receive our e-mail announcements.

You can uncheck the box to cancel (opt-out) your subscription for our e-mail announcements at any time. You may also choose to check areas that interest you on Kohls.com.

How do I sign-out?
For your personal security, you may choose to sign-out when you finish shopping at Kohls.com. Signing-out will ensure that a person with access to your personal computer cannot view or use your personal account at Kohls.com.

How should I enter my billing address?

How do I update my billing information?
In My Account, click on the tab called billing address & wallet. You can edit your first name, last name, address label, address, city, state, zip code and contact phone number. Please enter the information exactly as it appears on your credit card statement. Click Update when you have entered all new information. Incomplete or incorrect information may slow order processing.

Am I required to enter my payment information?

Entering your payment information while creating an account is optional. However, by completing this step, you'll have your payment information at your fingertips each time you checkout!

As a registered Kohls.com customer, your card number is stored for you. This means that you need only enter your credit card number once!

What payment methods do you accept?

You can pay for a Kohls.com order with a valid Kohl’s Charge Card, or another major credit card, including MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover.

If you are interested in applying for a Kohl's Charge Card, print our credit card application and take it to your nearest Kohl's store for processing or contact Customer Service toll-free at (866) 887-8884 to find out more.

You may also use a Kohl's Gift Card or Kohl's Merchandise Return Credit (KMRC)* as payment.

Please note: In order to place an order at Kohls.com, your billing address must be within the Continental U.S., Alaska or Hawaii, including all military (APO/FPO) addresses. We cannot accept orders placed with overseas bank credit cards or international billing addresses.

How do I update, add to or delete a credit card in My Wallet?
After you’ve created your account, you may edit or add to your credit card preferences any time. Simply sign-in to your account using your sign-in name (e-mail address) and password. Then click billing address & wallet in My Account where you can update your information.
  • To update the credit card information for one of the credit cards you have in My Wallet, select the name of the card and last four digits and click on Edit. Type in the new information and click on Update. Please enter your name, expiration date if applicable, and credit card number exactly as it appears on your credit card. Incomplete or incorrect information may slow order processing.*
  • To add an alternative credit card to My Wallet, click on Add Card. Simply enter your alternative credit card information. Choose Kohl's Charge or one of the four other major credit card options. Type in the new information and click on Update. Please enter your name, expiration date if applicable, and credit card number exactly as it appears on your credit card. Incomplete or incorrect information may slow order processing.*

    If you'd like to use a card that has a different billing address, simply change the billing address in your account to match the billing address of the new card.

  • To delete a credit card from My Wallet, follow these easy steps:

    1. Sign into your Kohls.com account and choose billing address & wallet.
    2. Choose the credit card you would like to delete and click Remove.
    3. Confirm.

Can I use a credit card with a different billing address?
No. We ask that you enter your billing address only once, which means the credit card you're using during checkout must share the billing address that's currently stored in My Account. If you'd like to use a credit card with a different billing address, no problem. Just update your billing address in My Account to match the billing address of the new card. (Please note: We cannot accept orders placed using credit cards with international billing addresses.)

Shipping Information

What's my main address?
As you add items to your shopping bag at Kohls.com, we always ask you to provide a ship-to destination for each product. Your "main address" will automatically appear as this ship-to destination as you shop Kohls.com. That's one less selection you have to make as you shop, which makes checking out as a registered customer fast and easy.

Do I have to ship everything to my main address?
Of course not! Creating an address book at Kohls.com means you always have a personalized list of ship-to destinations to choose from. If you don't want to ship a specific product to your main address, simply choose a different address from the ship this item to drop-down on billing and shipping page in checkout, or create a new shipping address by selecting Add Address in my account.

How do I change my main address?
Sign-in to your Kohls.com shopping account and click shipping addresses. Your main address will be labeled as main address in your list of addresses. You have two easy ways to change this main address.

1. To make an existing address your main address: Simply choose a different address from your address book and click Edit. Then, check the box that says Make this my main address. Click Update when you are finished making changes.

2. To make a brand-new address your main address: First, click Add Address. Enter all the information for that destination, then check the box that says Make this my main address. Click Update when you are finished making changes.

What is my ship-to self address and how do I edit this address?

You should enter an address on the Ship-to Self Address page only if your ship-to self address is DIFFERENT than your billing address.

In My Account, click on the tab called shipping address. To edit your ship-to self address information, select the address label assigned to your address (e.g., self or home) and click on the Edit button.

Click on the field you'd like to edit. Type in the new information and click on Update. If your ship-to self address is DIFFERENT than your billing address, please provide us with the shipping information. However, if your ship-to self address is the SAME as your billing address, please edit your address in the billing address and wallet section of My Account.

Don’t forget to choose a preferred shipping method. For each ship-to address, we'll ask you to select a shipping method. To enjoy express checkout when you shop Kohls.com, please tell us the way you'd like us to ship your Kohls.com purchases. With each order, you can edit your shipping method during the checkout process.

Reminder: We currently ship orders to addresses within the Continental U.S., Alaska and Hawaii only.

Look for the preferred shipping method section. To choose or change a shipping method, select an option from the menu provided, and click on Update.

Order Status & History

How do I review my order status & history?
As a registered customer, you may track all orders (past and present) at Kohls.com, plus view a detailed history of each order. Just follow these steps:
  1. Click Order Status at the top of any page.
  2. Enter your Kohls.com sign-in name (your e-mail address) and the password you entered when you created your Kohls.com account.
  3. You'll see a complete history of your Kohls.com purchases. Click any order tracking number to view the details of that order.

If you have already signed-in, visit my account and click on the tab called order status & history to see your Kohls.com order history and/or track an order.

What do the different order status definitions mean?
Submitted: You've successfully completed the checkout process at Kohls.com. Your order has been accepted and will be sent for processing to ensure your purchase reaches you on time.
In Fulfillment:
Our fulfillment center is working hard to fill your order and your package will be sent as soon as possible. Visit Customer Service to find out when you can expect your package(s) to arrive.

After your order is in fulfillment, we are not able to cancel or modify your order.

Partially Shipped: Part of your order has been shipped. The rest of your order will be shipped soon.

Shipped/Complete: Your order has been completely filled and shipped, and your credit card has been billed for all the items we've shipped to you. Visit Customer Service to find out when you can expect your package(s) to arrive.

Cancelled: Your order has been cancelled, and you will not receive any merchandise or be billed for the transaction. Your credit card statement may show a temporary charge, but that charge will be reversed by your credit card company and you will not be billed for this order.

Returned: We've received your returned merchandise and credited your account accordingly.

What's the difference between order status & history?
As a registered Kohls.com customer, you have the ability to review the status (new, submitted, in process, partially shipped, shipped or cancelled) of all your orders, past and present. In your personal account, we retain the details (order date, number, number of items and order total) of your past orders, that is, the history of those orders, for your personal reference.

No. Only your online purchases are retained in your personal account at Kohls.com.

How can I track an order that hasn't been delivered?
Once an order has reached the "shipped" or "partially shipped" status, the package can be tracked. To track a package that has been shipped, click on the order number from the order status & history summary page. On the order details page, click on the order tracking number (if it has not reached its destination, the number will appear as an underlined link). A tracking window will appear. Follow the instructions to learn the status of your shipped order.

Can I cancel/modify my order/shipment?
When you place an order at Kohls.com, your order immediately drops into our fulfillment center flow to help ensure your package is delivered within our specified shipping time frames. Unfortunately, we are unable to change or cancel an order once it has been submitted.

Don't worry, if we have already placed your order, our Easy Return & Exchange Policy means returning a purchase is always easy at Kohl's.
