About e-Gift Cards
- What is an e-Gift Card?
- It's an electronic gift card! Kohl's e-Gift Cards arrive via e-mail to the e-mail address you specify during checkout. Your gift recipient can then use his/her e-Gift Card to buy anything available in our stores and on Kohls.com.
- Can I use my e-Gift Card in-store?
- Yes, Kohls.com e-Gift Cards can be redeemed any time in our stores and on Kohls.com.
- How long will it take for my e-Gift Card to arrive?
- Your e-Gift Card will arrive quickly — in most cases, it will reach your gift recipient's e-mail address almost instantly. And don't worry: If there is any delay with your order for any reason, we'll send you an e-mail so you know the status of your gift.
- How much value can I add to an e-Gift Card?
- You can enter whatever value you want, up to $250.00. Think creatively! If you're giving a gift for a twenty-first birthday, enter $21.21! Whatever value you enter must be in dollars and cents.
Creating an e-Gift Card
- What should I enter for "Gift Recipient's Name?"
- Think of this field as the "To" label on any gift. Feel free to enter Mom, Dad, Jimmy or any other nickname. If you don't know the person very well, you can also enter both a first and a last name (Amy Smith) here.
- What does it mean when I check the box that says, "Yes, the Gift Recipient E-mail Address I've entered is correct?"
- This is a safety check for you to make sure the e-mail address you've entered is absolutely correct. We rely on the information you enter, so it's important to make sure that your recipient's e-mail is error-free. Otherwise, we will be unable to successfully deliver your e-Gift Card.
- Should I "Show my e-mail address" on my e-Gift Card?
- This is entirely up to you! If you want to keep your e-mail address private, click no here, and your e-Gift Card will arrive with just the "From" label complete.
