KOHL’S DONATES $100,000 TO THE AMERICAN RED CROSS FOR MIDWEST FLOOD RELIEF EFFORTS
MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis., June 20, 2008 — Today Kohl’s (NYSE: KSS) announced a $100,000 cash donation toward flood relief efforts in the Midwest. Kohl’s is providing this donation to the American Red Cross which is delivering much-needed emergency assistance throughout the region. The donation will support state disaster relief funds, with $25,000 allocated to Wisconsin and $15,000 contributions to Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Minnesota and Missouri.

KOHL'S ANNOUNCES LICENSE AGREEMENT WITH AMERICAN BRAND HOLDINGS FOR ICONIC HANG TEN BRAND
MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis., June 12, 2008 — Kohl’s Corporation (NYSE:KSS) and American Brand Holdings today announced a licensing agreement naming Kohl’s as the exclusive U.S. retailer for Hang Ten on a wide variety of merchandise. Hang Ten, a California lifestyle collection for young shoppers, will include apparel and accessories and launch spring 2009 in nearly 240 Kohl’s stores and Kohls.com, ultimately expanding to all stores nationwide. Kohl’s also announced an agreement with Quiksilver to design the collection and its packaging.

KOHL’S OPENS LARGEST GREEN PHOTO STUDIO IN UNITED STATES
MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis., April 16, 2008 — Today Kohl’s Department Stores (NYSE: KSS) announced the opening of its new state-of-the-art photo studio in Milwaukee, just miles from the company’s Menomonee Falls, Wis. headquarters. The 100,000-square-foot facility was constructed using the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) criteria and is expected to earn a Gold rating from the organization. It will be the only LEED-certified photo studio in the country.

On a comparable store basis, sales decreased 15.5 percent. For the nine weeks ended April 5, 2008, total sales decreased 3.2 percent and comparable store sales decreased 11.1 percent.
