KOHL’S ASSOCIATES EMBRACE VOLUNTEER SPIRIT, EARN $3.25 MILLION FOR CHILDREN’S NONPROFITS NATIONWIDE
MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis., April 23, 2008 — Today Kohl’s Department Stores (NYSE: KSS) announced it gave more than $3.25 million in grants to youth-serving nonprofit organizations in 2007 through the Kohl’s A-Team associate volunteer program. Over 39,100 Kohl’s associates nationwide contributed more than 136,200 volunteer hours during 2007, and A-Teams continue to give back in 2008 with hundreds of volunteers committed during National Volunteer Week.

KOHL’S OPENS LARGEST GREEN PHOTO STUDIO IN UNITED STATES
MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis., April 16, 2008 — Today Kohl’s Department Stores (NYSE: KSS) announced the opening of its new state-of-the-art photo studio in Milwaukee, just miles from the company’s Menomonee Falls, Wis. headquarters. The 100,000-square-foot facility was constructed using the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) criteria and is expected to earn a Gold rating from the organization. It will be the only LEED-certified photo studio in the country.

KOHL'S CORPORATION REPORTS MARCH COMPARABLE STORE SALES
MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis., April 10, 2008 — Kohl’s Corporation (NYSE: KSS) reported today that sales for the five-week period ended April 5, 2008 decreased 7.9 percent over the five-week period ended April 7, 2007. On a comparable store basis, sales decreased 15.5 percent. For the nine weeks ended April 5, 2008, total sales decreased 3.2 percent and comparable store sales decreased 11.1 percent.

MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis., February 7, 2008 — Kohl's Corporation (NYSE: KSS) reported sales for the fiscal periods ended February 2, 2008.
As a reminder, the January 2007 fiscal month consisted of 5 weeks, while the current year period was 4 weeks. Total sales for the additional week in fiscal 2006 were approximately $200 million. The following comparable store sales results compare the period ended February 2, 2008 to the period ended January 27, 2007.

KOHL'S ANNOUNCES LICENSE AGREEMENT WITH LIZ CLAIBORNE INC.
MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis., January 17, 2008 — Kohl's Corporation (NYSE: KSS) and Liz Claiborne Inc. (NYSE: LIZ) today announced a licensing agreement naming Kohl’s as the exclusive U.S. retailer for the Dana Buchman brand on a wide variety of merchandise. The classic lifestyle brand will span several categories, including women’s apparel, intimate apparel, accessories and footwear and will be available in spring 2009 in more than 1,000 Kohl’s stores nationwide and on Kohls.com. Ultimately, the brand may extend into home, beauty and fragrance categories.

MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis., January 10, 2008 — Kohl’s Corporation (NYSE: KSS) reported today that sales for the five-week period ending January 5, 2008, decreased 3.4 percent over the five-week period ending December 30, 2006. Comparable store sales decreased 11.4 percent on a reported basis. As a reminder, last year’s retail reporting calendar included 53 weeks. On a calendar-adjusted basis, comparing the five weeks ended January 5, 2008, to the five weeks ended January 6, 2007, comparable store sales decreased 0.7 percent.
