Although you are an established partner, each year of partnership in April, you will be required to submit a Program Proposal that tells Kohl's what community outreach program you will be proposing to execute with that year's grant. Below are details of steps included in the Program Proposal process.
- Step 1:
- Early-February: The proposal instruction document for sign-up and completion as well as the Proposal Document with sample answers will be provided to you by e-mail. Additionally you will receive an updated Budget Template instruction document.
- These documents will assist you in understanding the information Kohl's needs in order to review and approve your Program Proposal.
- Please use these documents to begin gathering details to fill in each question asked on the Proposal Application.
- This is a good time to begin meeting with your marketing departments/ agencies to begin thinking about and gathering all applicable detail required in the proposal
- Step 2:
- Early-March: You will receive a Donation Letter that will tell you the donation amount you will receive that year.
- You cannot submit a Program Proposal until you have this donation amount.
- You must submit one Program Proposal using the entire donation amount for one program.

- Once reviews are complete, you will be notified of approval via e-mail
