September 17, 2008 MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis., September 17, 2008 – Today Kohl’s (NYSE: KSS) announced a $500,000 cash donation toward Hurricane Ike relief efforts in the Gulf Coast region. Kohl’s is providing this donation to the American Red Cross, which is delivering much-needed emergency assistance in the hurricane-impacted areas. In addition to a financial contribution, Kohl’s is encouraging its associates to volunteer for hurricane cleanup efforts. In exchange for volunteer hours, Kohl’s will make corporate grants to the nonprofit organizations that associates support. “With 28 stores and more than 2,500 associates in the hurricane-impacted area, Kohl’s is committed to the communities where we do business.
